Experience the magic of Christmas this December at Santa’s Grotto in the beautiful surrounds of Malahide Castle. A wonderful and memorable trip for the whole family!

Santa, Mrs Claus and their team of Elves will be arriving on Friday 5th December and staying with us until Tuesday 23rd December! Mrs Claus is waiting by the fire to welcome all of Santa's guests, she has so much to do to get the big man ready for a busy season ahead!

The Christmas spirit continues with a magical guided tour of the castle where there's wonderful story telling by Santa's guests staying at the castle. Be careful there could be a one or two not so festive characters hanging around! However the  beautiful snow queen is on hand to sprinkle you with a magical christmas wish!

The grown-ups can enjoy the magical christmas tour with their little ones, whilst munching on mince pies and warming their toes with a tipple of mulled wine!

Avoca will have a special GOLDEN ticket for every visitor to Santa this year!

Time: A visit to Santa and tour of castle will last approximately 1 hour. Visitors are asked to collect tickets at the admission desk in the Visitor Centre (Courtyard) 15 minutes before their booked time for Santa in the Castle.

Your visit to Santa includes –age appropriate present & guided tour of castle, mulled wine & mince pies, & special guests characters!

Limited places available and Santa is a very busy man so we’d advise you book early to avoid disappointment!

There is plenty of FREE car parking and Avoca 'self service' cafe on site.

CHRISTMAS CAROL CONCERT

19/12/2014 - Seabury Church, Malahide @ 8pm

Enchiriadis Chamber Choir would like to cordially invite you to their annual Christmas carol concert, “Christmas From Around The World” this coming Friday, 19th December in Seabury Church, Malahide. The eclectic program will celebrate Christmas music from past, present and afar. We will also be boasting well-known Christmas favourites!

Alternative from your regular bunch of singers, Enchiriadis brings a new meaning to the word choir. Enchiriadis, of many parts in Greek, thrives in high quality performances of religious, secular, pop and world music. It is the home choir to many music lovers and choral enthusiasts, ranging from a diverse array of backgrounds.

Founded 25 years ago in Malahide, the choir is currently under direction of the hugely talented Michael Dawson. Michael presently sings at Christchurch Cathedral under the directorship of Ian Keatley. Also Conductor of Maynooth Chamber Choir, Michael’s choirs have performed numerous acclaimed concerts, most recently a five state tour of the USA which included the Metropolitan Club, New York and the Leighton Concert Hall, Notre Dame University.

We hope to see you on Friday 19th December at 8:00pm in Seabury Church, Malahide. No better way to kick off the festive cheer! Be sure to arrive early and get a great seat!
