A family fun event - Giro d'Italia

There will be a family funa nd race viewing area beside the Beach Carpark on the Coast Road. Please use Malahide Demesne for parking accessed via the Back Road and follow directions to the fun area (approx. 15 mins walk). Malahide Village will have considerable traffic restrictions from 13:30hrs- 16:30hrs. So come celebrate the Giro d’Fingal in Malahide.

Giro d'Italia Cycle Race

11/05/2014 - Passing through Malahide

In May 2014 the focus of the cycling world will be on Ireland and the Giro d'Italia Big Start with three days of pre-race celebrations in Belfast, followed by spectacular opening stages in Northern Ireland before racing from Armagh to Dublin.

...and the Giro d'Italia will be passing through Malahide! This will be the first international cycling tour to come through Malahide since the 1998 Tour de France. The prestigious Grand Tour cycling race will begin in Belfast — with its iconic Grand Partenza — on Friday, 9 May and finishes in Dublin the following Sunday.

The race will pass through Malahide on Sunday May 11th, as part of the Armagh to Dublin stage.

2014 Malahide Classic & Vintage Car Show

18/05/2014 - Grand Hotel Malahide

The 2014 Malahide Classic & Vintage Car Show is taking place this Sunday the 18th of May in the Grand Hotel.

This, the 3rd Malahide Classic & Vintage Motor Show, follows on last years enormously successful event which saw 3,000 people attend and 100 classic and vintage vehicles ranging in age from 20 to 120 years old.

With music and childrens' entertainment included in the entry fee of €10 per family the Show is a great value family event.

The Show is a charity fundraiser in aid of St. Francis Hospice and other causes and is run by well-known local charity Malahide Lions Club.

A breakfast in aid of the Laura Brennan Charitable Trust

A breakfast in aid of the Laura Brennan Charitable Trust is being held in Malahide Rugby Club on Friday, 30th May from 10am-1pm. After the success of last year's Breakfast at Tiffanys event this year we are holding a "Rat Pack" inspired morning.

Tickets cost €25 and are going quickly. It is going to be a really fun morning with a fabulous champagne breakfast, live entertainment by Noel Porter of Simply Sinatra fame and lots of great prizes. There will be hair consultations by Salon Euphoria, jewellery, handbags and lots of glitz(!!) from Mels Gems and Bling Things.
