Fingal Academy of Music (FAM) is a music school based in North County Dublin. It is part of Irish Institute of Music and Song and was founded by Michael T. Dawson and Dónal Kearney to provide people of all ages a fun and focused environment in which to develop their musical talents.

The Sounds Good! Summer Camps are a fantastic opportunity for local kids to experience the life-changing power of music. The camp is focused on having fun and no musical experience is required. Kids will get the chance to play lots of musical games, make new friends, learn new instruments, sing in every style, write their own songs and form a band! Since 2010, FAM has grown to become a centre of excellence for musical training and home to the acclaimed Fingal Choral programme, which boasts three prize-winning choirs in Cór Fingal, Fingal Children's Choir and Fingal Youth Choir. FAM's team of skilled teachers have a genuine passion for cultivating talented musicians of all ages and levels. FAM caters for all ages and its new Pre-Instrumental courses are now enrolling for 2020. Whether you want to learn for the joy of playing an instrument or you are keen to pass musical grades, our tutors will work with you to develop and hone your skills.
