The Malahide Community Forum is the core group representing all the residents’ associations in Malahide. The Community Forum acts as a watchdog, taking action on behalf of the residents of over 20 estates on a wider level when issues arise which are likely to affect the residents of Malahide as a whole. Residents should contact their local residents’ association for issues specific to their street or estate.

The community forum is concerned with the social, cultural, educational, environmental and economic well-being of our community. They address issues that might threaten this well-being. These include issues like planning of major developments, access and transport within the area, services, and safety of residents. When problems arise, or are threatened, the forum represent the interests of residents to the relevant authorities, such as the County Council, the Gardaí, transport companies and other service providers.
